A line camp usually consists of a small cabin and corrals in the hills or mountains where cowboys can sleep for the night and take care of their horses. On a big ranch, there are usual several line camps quite a distance apart, so no matter where the cowboys are working, they have a place where they can get out of the rain or the storm.
