About this Art:
The subject of this painting is taken from a personal experience in Montana, years ago, on a roundup. One of the cowboy's horses died of a heart attack. He was all alone, had to pull the saddle off and carry it quite a distance before our boss found him. It's my tribute to a good horse who always did his job, and the love and respect a cowboy has for the horses he rides.
