The Landscape of the West is so vast that some of the cowboys call it The Big Lonesome. For people who have grown up in the West, they love the bigness and the empty space, but it can get lonesome. I was with some people one time that were not used to the mountains and they were sure happy to get out of them. But most cowboys are happy to get into them.
