About this Art:
Early in the morning when a cowboy goes to saddle his horse, if it’s cold and the horse's back is wet (which makes it even colder) then they don’t really look forward to having a saddle thrown on their back. Makes them uncomfortable and stuff like that. This cowboy has put the blanket on, and the horse doesn’t like it. He’s waiting for the horse to settle down before he puts the saddle on him. A good chance that horse will buck when he gets on him. Sometimes cowboys would take their saddle blankets and warm their blankets over the fire before putting them on the horse, which made the horse less jumpy and less prone to buck.
