About this Art:
This cowboy has had his eye on a couple of horses his neighbor had. He had seen those pintos several times as they were growing up. He knew they were still young and would make good horses if they could be trained. They were a little bit broke - what's called green broke - where you could get a saddle and bridle on okay but still they weren't that safe of a horse. So this man has in mind to bring the horses home and finish breaking and riding them until they won't buck and they'll be safe horses. It's easier to buy a horse in the winter than in the summer because people usually have to feed with hay in the winter which is more expensive. People are more anxious to let them go. He went down and made an offer and he's bringing them back to his ranch in time for Christmas. He and his kids will work with these horses and get them trained even better till they make good horses for years to come. He's happy to have the horses and the horses are excited to be going to a new place. They'll love the kids and the kids will love them, and hopefully it'll be a good match.
