About this Art:
This scene is on the Diamond Tail Ranch, at the head of the Laramie River, on the border between Wyoming and Colorado. The horses have been turned loose to graze while the cowboys get something to eat. Many of the horses have had their saddles and blankets removed so the horses can cool off better, revealing the slick sweaty backs on the horses.
