The location of this painting is Granite Creek in Wyoming. I was trying to depict the humility and gratitude of the rancher and his son. They are expressing gratitude for blessings and asking a blessing from God on their food. People who work on the land have a tendency to realize the closeness of God and where all their blessings come from, and that's the message I'm trying to portray.
